Stainless steel fish leader is preferable; galvanized wire is suitable ; plain or ungalvanized wire is barely satisfactory. Galvanized wire can be obtained in small 1 –pound coils in sizes of 16-gauge, 18-gauge,12-gauge and 14 gauge wire may be needed for rabbits and animals of similar size. A large ( 30 or 50 cubic centimeter ) hypodermic syringe with a long needle is indispensable for removing the brains from skulls . Arsenic trioxide or Boraxo is used by most workers to poison the skin, and corn meal or hardwood sawdust must be on hand for removing grease and blood. Finally, a pound of long-fiber absorbent cotton is needed for marking tail wires,leg wires,and artificial bodies for round mounts Provide also skin labels, skull labels,waterproof ink , and dip pen.
