The concept of study habit is broad as it combines nearly all other sub-topics under it such as study attitude, study method, and study skill. Allport (1960) asserts that attitude is a mental and natural state of readiness, organized through experience, exerting a directive influence upon the individual’s response to all objects and situations with which is related. Attitude toward study has great contribution in academic achievement and good study pattern. Successful learners adopt positive attitude towards study and do not waste time or energy over what they have to do. If the learning experience is pleasant, the learner’s attitude and motivation usually is positive and if the learning experience is not pleasant he tends to avoid it.
