1. Answers the shelter phone during normal working hours
2. Answers e-mail enquiries/concerns regarding animal welfare from the general public
3. Takes messages and relays information regarding treatment pickups and emergencies to the appropriate persons
4. Maintains a list of phone calls that need to be followed-up on
5. One week per month answers the emergency call line overnight (5pm-8am)
6. One weekend per month answers the emergency call line
7. Communicates with Thai owners and feeders when directed by the veterinarian
8. Greets visitors at the door
9. Assists clients dropping off animals for treatment/sterilisation
10. Develops a knowledge base of client problems and resolutions
11. Encourages members of the public to sterilize their dogs and cats
12. Helps coordinate animal pick-ups and drop-offs with the dog catchers
13. Schedules sterilisation surgeries/ book appointments and maintain a log
14. As part of the Soi Dog team, is available to help as needed, even with tasks that are outside of the job description
