In order to evaluate the daily intakes of nutrients and toxic elements through the consumption of the produced cookies, the average daily portion of 100 g of cookies was assumed.
The intakes were calculated by multiplying the contents found in this study
by presumed average daily portion.
The estimated intakes of the analysed nutrients were compared with the dietary references intakes (DRIs) (NRC, 2001).
The ratios of the intakes calculated for cookies and the corresponding reference intakes were multiplied by 100 and the obtained percentage was used to discuss adequacy
of the produced supplemented cookies in comparison to the control ones.
