For a long time, Thailand was known for its agricultural production. By the middle of the 1980’s, 70 percent the active labor force in Thailand were employed in the agricultural sector. Thailand however experienced a paradigm shift, from agricultural dependency to export goods and services, especially tourism, after it emerged as one of the Newly Industrialized Countries averaging annual growth of 12.4 percent from 1985 to 1996. Thay’s Poultry Production limited is a business start-up venture that aims to produce large quantity of chicken and chicken products to the Thailand market. This is because the low dependence on agriculture has now led to the country exporting such products from neighboring countries.
