General Requirements

(1) All fabrications shall be subject to inspection in accordance with this standard and ap-
plicable Codes & Standards. Inspection shall not relieve contractor of the responsibility
of compliance with this specification and its referenced codes and standards.

(2) HPT’s quality control Representative shall have the right of free entry to all parts of
contractor's works engaged in the fabrication and installation of piping work.

(3) All tests and inspection shall be conducted at the place of fabrication and/or installation
unless otherwise agreed.
(4) Contractor shall be provided the inspectors all reasonable facilities for proving that the
piping are in accordance with this standard and its referenced codes and standards.
