generation adhesives to be the less effective.17,18 The lower bond strength of 7th generation bonding agent might be a result of the less pronounced etching pattern obtained with the self-etch adhesive and inadequate pH of the primer.
Conclusion
Under the limitations of this study, it can be concluded that:
1. Treatment of bleached enamel surface with 5% proanthocyanidin reverses the reduced bond strength and results in significantly higher shear bond strength.
2. The shear bond strength with 5th generation bonding agent is significantly higher when compared to 7th generation bonding agent.
