This is where the concept of backcross-breed
between matured female hybrid groupers (OGGG)
and male GGs (Fig. 1) arises in order to produce
offspring that may carry 75% genetic material from the
GG, and are assumed to perform better than hybrid
OGGGs. This attempt was also motivated by the first
successful backcross-breed between TGs and TGGG
hybrid groupers, reported by Luin et al. (in press).
