concentration increased up to 8% of DM. Data in calves
fed diets containing GLY would suggest that calf performance
is equal to or greater than that of diets without GLY
(Gunn et al., 2011). Therefore, the objectives of our studies
were to determine 1) the effects of GLY concentration
on the performance of steers fed growing diets containing
steam-flaked corn (SFC) and 2) the effects of replacing
SFC or alfalfa hay (AH) with GLY on performance of
