We recruited 12 NTNU students (six males and six females) to participate in a guided tour around in the Virtual Operating room using Oculus Rift. This was conducted by providing private tours for each participant having two computers beside each other. A questionnaire and an interview were conducted at the end of each tour. The questions covered previous experience in 3D VWs and games, previous hospital experiences as a patient or relative, experiences in the virtual operating room, experiences with Oculus Rift, as well as suggestions for a VUH from a non-medical point of view
