Wiz Khalifa (born Cameron Jibril Thomaz on September 8, 1987 in Minot, North Dakota) is an American rapper. He was born in Minot, North Dakota, but spent the majority of his life in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2006, he released his debut album, Show and Prove, and signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2007. He signed with Atlantic Records in 2010, and is well known for his first single for the label, “Black & Yellow,” which was released off of his album, Rolling Papers.
