Chapter 3: “I can’t believe that you’re actually going to meet them” Theo gasped. “Please let me come, please!” he begged. “Pfft! It’s not up to me, you have to ask Fern” I said and locked the cabinet. “No way am I asking bossy Fern! She hates me!” he squealed. “She doesn’t doesn’t hate you..” I said. He raised his eyebrows and crossed his arms. “Okay.. maybe she dislikes you” I said. “But only a tiny bit” I said. He rolled his eyes and sat down. “Why do you want to meet them so badly anyway?” I asked. “Duh! It’s Fc Barcelona! Who wouldn’t want to meet them? They’re the best players in the world!” he said. “️Plus, they’re super hot” he smirked and bit his lip. I giggled “Alright, I’ll ask Fern” I said. “Yes! Thanks babes!” he hugged my tightly.

After a long day at work, I walked back to the car park and got into my car. I was feeling quite peckish, since I didn’t have much to eat for lunch. I started the car and drove home. “Hello! Is anybody home?” I yelled as I walked in. I was greeted by Coco, our puppy who is only a couple of weeks old. “Hi baby! Did you miss me?” I said, and smiled at her. I walked into the kitchen “Hi mum, what are you cooking?” I asked and put my bag onto the table. “Me and your father have to go out today for some party or something, so I’m just cooking some early dinner” she replied. “Looks yummy” I said. “How was work?” she asked. “It was good, I have been offered to help out with FC Barcelona on Monday” I said and got some orange juice out of the fridge. “Oh, that’s great honey! Are you looking forward to it?” she asked. I shrugged “Don’t know, really. It’s just a football team” I said.
I went upstairs to get changed out of my work clothes and threw on some shorts and a tank top. I put on some ankle socks and some sunglasses as the sun was so bright. It was only March, but it felt like Summer already! I was looking forward to Summer, not only because of the sun, I’m off to Brasil to see my family who I haven’t seen in a while! I was so excited!
