My name is Mike, and I'm an electrical engineering student. I'm 23 years old and am looking for some international friends!
As an engineering student, I don't have much time anymore for hobbies.. but when I do get the opportunity I like to play pretty much any sport. I also play piano and am learning guitar. For three years in college I sang with an a cappella group and served as lead choreographer. I have a strong passion for dancing and performing, and once I graduate from college I look forward to getting back into it!
As is the case for most of the people on this site, I'm interested in learning new languages and exposing myself to different cultures. Also, I need a good excuse to travel the world, and strong international friendships is as good of an excuse as any!
The top of my "language learning list" is Korean, so I'm eager to talk with native speakers. And I can compensate by helping with some basic English if you're interested (and it seems like a lot of people are!). So if you think you would like to befriend a goofy, music-loving engineering student from the U.S., feel free to message me. As I am very busy in my last year of college, I will likely not be able to respond to every message I receive :/ But I will do my best to!
Cheers and happy friend-ing!
