Microbiological assessments
The assessments of total plate counts, yeastsmoulds
and fecal coliforms in fresh and HHP
treated samples were carried out following the
Bacteriological Analytical Manual (BAM) method of
US Food and Drug Administration (2001).
Statistical analysis
All data were the means of six replications.
Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was carried out using
a SPSS software version 11.5, and determination of
significant differences among treatment means was
done by Duncan’s multiple range tests (P≤0.05).
