The higher compressive strength values can be obtained
with higher molarities if desired for applications like building
materials. Also some fillers may be added to increase the
compressive strength values.
The results of this research indicated that the appropriate proportion of replacement fraction by BA was 20% (CBA20). It presented the highest compressive strength comparing to all ratios. At 28 D curing, the stabilized soil strength with 20% BA replacement had increased 20.4% over that for the cement only sample (CBA0). The modulus of elasticity (E50) changed in a similar trend as did the stabilized soil strength. Compared with cement alone, the modulus of elasticity of CBA20 had increased 112% at 28 D.
The SEM technique can be see change in the microstructure of stabilized soil due to phase transfiguration of such major reaction products as calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) was illustrated. Baggasse ash is a suitable pozzolanic material for use increase soil strength and reduce soil settlement in cement can be applied in several geotechnical construction works such as Cement Column, Pavement Applications and Brick interface.
