Figure 1a shows the DSC curve of an as-received continuous carbon fiber Nylon-6 matrix composite. The glass transition was not observed by DSC. Tm (melting temperature, as indicated by the peak temperature) was 218.5°C. Figures 1b—1f show the effect of annealing time and temperature on the melting peak.
