Ad hoc network is a collection of autonomous nodes where they communicate with each other by multihop function. There are different types of ad hoc networks such as Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET), VANET, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Wireless Man Networks (WMN) etc. VANET is a collection of vehicles that are geo-located. Vehicles communicate each other using Dedicated Short Range Communication- Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments (DSRC-WAVE) range. Routing in VANETs usually takes place in many ways. Topology based routing protocols use links information that exist in the network to perform packet forwarding. Position based routing protocols require information about the physical position of the participating nodes.
