The oils from the seed and the pulp of the buriti (Mauritia flexuosa) fruit were analyzed by
Costa et al. (2010), and they had แรมด้า – and เดวต้า -tocopherols in common, the second was majority in both, 878.45and 616.90 mg/kg, respectively. The แอลฟ่า-tocopherol was found only in the buriti pulp oil.
