After reading many rave reviews of the K-60, I ordered a rear to replace the K-76 that I had wore our on my Yamaha Super Tenere. The K-60 disappointed me with its lack of traction on clean dry pavement! A smooth throttle roll on in T mode from third gear at 3,000 rpms at a modest (20 degrees maybe) lean angle would bring on the traction control light. The traction control light came just about every corner exit. I did not have this issue any of the other tires that I have run on this bike.
This is by far the worst traction that I have experienced on any tire ever! After returning from the first ride, I ordered a set on Anakee 3's, which stick very well.
The K-60's aggressive tread looks like it would work well off hard surface and the hard rubber and continuous center strip should give good longevity. I plan on remounting this tire for my next touring trip out west where I will need a long lasting tire for the interstate miles as well as good off hard surface traction for my camping/exploring ventures.
I'm not saying that this isn't an good tire for its intended use. Just be aware that it is not a tire for even semi sporting use on twisty roads. Also for the hi price, I expected more. I won't likely be buying another.
