Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played PC game in the world, over 67 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.
We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.
That's where you come in
As an EU Associate Player Support Developer, you’re the scripting wizard whose self-made tools will enhance the Player Support experience for both Rioters and players alike. Upon joining a small, tight-knit team on their unending quest to become the most player-focused developer in the industry, you’ll data mine and use your findings to create automations that will streamline the process, drastically reducing players’ needs to submit tickets. Meanwhile, you’ll seek out areas that can be made more efficient and automated with your scripts and tools, from auto-gifting to fraud detection to point tracking, the more ambitious the task, the better.
As a Dublin Rioter, you’ll join a smaller team of internationally and culturally diverse professionals that share our prioritization of player experience, rejection of convention and maniacal passion for gaming. With teams in Player Support, Community and Marketing, Riot Games Dublin is dedicated to creating unique player experiences that show local players they aren’t lost in translation.

Technically multilingual: you don’t need a Rosetta Stone to communicate in Java, Perl, Python, Ruby or even Javascript; you’ve probably learned even more programming languages because—why not?
A flexible communicator: whether on the page or out of your mouth, your words break down complex concepts with ease; you walk on the bright side and enjoy collaborating with people from all teams
A data hound: you organize intricate information so it’s as accessible as an alphabetized bookshelf, using Hadoop or MySQL to keep everything logically sorted
Hungry to learn: you’ve enough knowledge to easily tackle a bachelor’s degree, but the world is your eternal classroom; you’re always excited to pick up new skills and knowledge that will level you up to pro
A skilled summoner: you’re already a veteran of League of Legends, having carried, supported, and jungled your way at least to Level 15; you understand the vital role a Player Support team has in creating an awesome player experience
YOU WILL:
Develop and modify scripts to that quickly process large volumes of data
Collect and analyze data to estimate the scope of Player Support issues
Investigate and troubleshoot problems that arise with scripts and tools
Identify opportunities to improve the Player Support process, then develop custom scripts, programs, and tools
Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.
