The purpose of this research is to study bacterial inhibition of silver nanoparticles from durian shells fluid extract of green synthesis. There are three main purposes in this study; First, is to study about using nanoparticles from durian shells fluid extract. Second, is to study about the congruous ratio of silver nanoparticles from durian shells fluid extract to inhibit bacterias and third, is to compare the efficiency of bacterial inhibition between silver nanoparticles from durian fluid extract and the chemical synthesis and furthermore, to learn more about the MIC and MBC of silver nanoparticles from the durian extract.
From the studies, we have found out that we can use durian extracts to extract synthesize silver nanoparticles. The congruous ratio of of silver nanoparticles inhibit the growth of bacterias such as; Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus cereus and Salmonea sp. By disc diffusion, the ratio of the durian extract is 30ml and AgNO3 of 50ml. Silver nanoparticles from the durian shell fluid extract can inhibit the bacterias, but there is less silver nanoparticles from synthesis.
MIC and MBC of S. aerues , E. coli and Salmonea sp. are 25% v/v and 50% v/v respectively. The MIB and MBC of B. cereus are equal to 3.125% v/v and 6.25% v/v respectively.
