The results of the study revealed that culture was one of the top tourism impacts Thai residents perceived, regardless of the origin of their clientele. Respondents stated that tourism has impacts on love and pride of local culture, an increase in investment, an increase in parks and recreation areas, an increase in earnings of local government, and preservation and support of traditions and culture. Residents who resided in domestic tourist destinations differed from those who lived in international tourist destinations in regard to the environmental, economic, and social factors. Based on the results of the study, the following recommendations are made:
