Staging the Dance
A choreographer usually stages a dance following the work in movement discovery and manipulation already described. Staging a composition involves several steps, the first of which is to decide on an order for the selected actions. Then the choreographer determines which actions each dancer is to perform, and how these dancers and placed and moved around the stage space.
