This study demonstrates that the host anemone (S. haddoni)
is invariably not sessile and their movement affects
the settler’s reproduction. Overlay mapping results showed
that the host movements were in straight lines between
each location. Similarly, Dunn (1977) has reported about
the calculated straight line between the successive observations
on the locomotion of Epiactis prolifera. However,
Ottaway and Thomas (1971) reported that Actinia tenebrosa
rarely moves in straight lines, under aquarium conditions.
