HREIMS ([M + Na] + at m/z 393.1423, calcd for 393.1426), which indicated
11° of unsaturation. Its IR spectrum suggested the presence of hydroxyl
(3438 cm−1
), and aromatic ring (1729, 1593, 1467, 1248 cm−1
) functionalities.
The UV spectrum showed absorption maxima at 239 and 289 nm,
characteristic of dihydroindole alkaloid [23]
