Good afternoon Mr. Chair I’m the second speaker of the Government I disagree to the first speaker of the Opposition about should allow same-gender-couple to adopt children because I’m one of them same-gender unwanted to adopt children I think same-gender living together is not necessary to have a child, they can be together.
Let’s move to my argument
The focus of this debate should not be on gay rights, but on what is in the best interest of the adopted child. The adoption process' goal is to find the most suitable parents for that child, not to resolve other social inequalities and injustices. Being raised in a traditional family, by a mother and father, is the best environment for a child. Studies have shown that children who are raised by homosexual couples can have problems with substance abuse, violence and 'at risk' behaviour. Therefore the state has the obligation to try to provide the child with that environment.
Male and females are different - biologically, physically and emotionally - that's a fact. Both genders play an important role in a child's development. These roles are becoming increasingly confused and inconsistent, and that's the fault of the species - our fault for allowing the degradation of the natural state of being.
Also - This is not about love or a good environment, it's about the right of the child to have a Mother and a Father! Everyone keeps talking about the rights of the parents - how about the rights of the child?
