To quantify the in vitro efficacies, each yeast isolate was co-inoculated with spores of B. cinerea in an agar well. From the assay, all the yeasts significantly suppress the redial growth of B. cinerea as compared to the control. However, of 24 isolates tested, there were only 8 isolates those showing inhibitory efficacy greater than 50%. Among them, the isolate MO-03 was observed as the most efficacious isolate follow by BCY1-08, BCY3-01, BCY2-16, BCY1-01, BCY3-11, MO-01 and BCY1-12 respectively (Table 1).
