Please note that with our meeting with EdL today about Lakhok shutdown the following came to light:
• Both Feeders outside the station were alive with Lakhok running from Feeder 1, but had a power inconsistency and caused the MCB to trip. The ATS operated correctly, switching over from Feeder 1 to Feeder 2. Thus Lakhok power was restored.
• Although both Feeders outside the station were still alive, Feeder 2 also had a power inconsistency causing the other MCB to trip but the ATS did not switch back from feeder 2 to 1 to restore power and subsequently left the station shutdown without any indication to anybody.
This leaves us with the problem of how the ATS was supposed to work.
• Obviously the ATS is supposed to switch back to utilize any alive Feeder to keep the supply 100% at Lakhok, but apparently the system is unable to do so.
• Please contact your supplier and enquire if this ATS is automatic or manuel
• If your operation request was incorrectly forwarded to your supplier, please request the technician to rectify this problem to enable a fully automatic system that can be trusted.
• If the ATS was incorrectly installed, please request your supplier to fix immediately.
Your urgent attention to this critical matter is greatly appreciated.
