Patricia Baldock, a receptionist, lives with her husband James, a scaffolder in a residential area of Brighton called Bevendean just close to the University of Brighton. It is a non-smoking household, but students can smoke outside, and there are no pets. The house is a 20-minutebus ride to college. The student room has a double bed, cupboard space and a desk for study. The house has a large garden with decking, and the students also have a 'chill out' room with sofa and satellite television.
