Bungee jumping
Bungee jumping has been one of the most popular adventure sports for more than a decade. During that time, thousands of thrill seekers have happily thrown themselves off elastic---simply for fun! The jump probably has given them the adrenalin rush of their lives, but, as with all adventure sports, the risk of injury is always there. The majority of bungee accidents occur because someone has not checked the equipment properly before a jump. To avoid such system failures, bungee firms use more than one connection to hold the person who is jumping. So if one rope or harness breaks, there will be another to take the strain and keep the person from falling.
