The influence of plants and theirmetabolic activities affects the geological and biological redistribution of heavy metals through pollution of the air, water and soil (Nagajyoti et al.,2010). Heavy metals, in general, are not biodegradable, have long biological half lives and have the potential for accumulation in the different body organs leading to unwanted side effects
(Jarup 2003; Sathawara et al.,2004). Human health may be directly affected by ingestion fruits and vegetables, if enhanced amount of macronutrients are present in such edible (Disipio and Trulli 1999).
