A.7 PERSONAL HYGIENE
A.7.1 Knowledge, understanding or training of personal hygiene shall be given to operators, so
that they are able to practice them correctly.
A.7.2 Persons who contact the produce directly, particularly after harvest shall take good care
of their personal hygiene in order to prevent produce from contamination.
A.7.3 Personal hygiene facilities shall be sufficiently provided, they shall be near the
production site enable for getting rid off wastes and avoiding contamination to produce
production site and production inputs.
A.7.4 Sick persons who may spread the disease to the produce are not allowed to enter the
production area. If such contamination is likely happened, the supervisor or the sick worker shall
report the incidence to the production manager. Operators who work with pesticides shall have
their health checked up accordingly.
A.7.5 Provide data recording on training history, or store documents of health check up reports
or personal hygiene management.

A.8 DATA RECORDING AND TRACEABILITY
A.8.1 Documents or record forms shall be updated for such production season to ensure
complete data and to be signed by the operator after each record.
A.8.2 In case there is more than one planting plot, data recording shall be separated for each
plot.
A.8.3 In case produce is sold, data of buyers or location of market place shall be recorded.
A.8.4 Documents shall be separately kept by season, in order to facilitate further inspection and
utilization.
A.8.5 The following data shall be recorded for further evaluation and traceability:
(1) Sources of inputs
(2) Pesticides application
(3) Cultivation, pre- and post-harvest practices, especially the important steps that can
affect the quality and safety of produce
(4) Buyers detail or location of market place.
A.8.6 Record of operation and important documents related to the operation shall be well stored
for at least 2 consecutive years, or as required by entrepreneur or trade partner country, which
would ensure the ability to trace and recall the produce if problems occur. Besides, inspection
may be carried out in accordance with the traceability principles specified in TAS. 9028, Thai
Agricultural Standard on Principle for Traceability/Product Tracing as a Tool Within an
Agricultural Commodity and Food Inspection and Certification System
