Yoon and the others stand before a fire. Yoon comments that soldiers have been put to work around the surrounding area thanks to Tae-Jun's efforts. However, this are still far from alright. He can't find everything he needs in this barren land, and so he has decided that he may leave the land of the Fire Tribe for a while.
Tae-Jun announces Kil-Sung's recovery, to which they all welcome him back excitedly. Tae-Jun then points to the distance and announces that the Hungry Bunch gang has moved on to another village to raid, so they are going to head over there. They all give him confused looks since they already have an emergency headquarters built there. Tae-Jun says he's planning on making that into a medical clinic so that those who are sick have the chance to be healed. He's already called for a new doctor to work there, so they can head to Enri Village. In the background, Huk-Chi bids farewell to a couple elderly people who he took care of.
The soldiers are still skeptical. Enri Village is in the same condition as this one was. Plus, they have no clue what happened to the taxes that were taken away by the gang. Kil-Sung says that while they were here, they heard nothing of taxes being hidden. This is a direct order from Tae-Jun, so he is going. He reflects in the events of the past few days, and Tae-Jun nursed him back to health even though he could have become sick himself. He'll never forget that for as long as he lives. Besides, he doesn't think what Tae-Jun is attempting to do is impossible. This riles the soldiers and they set out to Enri Village.
As they expected, Enri Village is in just as bad of shape as the previous one was, so they get to work right away. Tae-Jun and a soldier spot an older man hunched over and they don't know how to help him since the doctor isn't there.
Suddenly Yoon pops up next to them and gives the man some medicine. Tae-Jun is taken aback and asks in a low voice why he's there. Yoon grins and feigns innocence saying he's just a a normal citizen of the Fire Tribe at their service. (It's not like the soldiers recognize him as member of the Hunger Bunch bandits, afterall.) He whispers that Yona wanted to come too, but they didn't let her^^ Yoon says he will be the doctor for that day.
The soldiers are excited that a cute girl has shown up, prompting Yoon to clarify that he is a boy and further shocks them all. One of the soldiers excitedly asks that Yoon teach him how to make medicine easily. Yoon agrees and then trails off to just star at the soldier. He admits that he thought he would be dealing with bad company. He thought soldiers were supposed to be more scary, and they all start laughing at the man. Yoon smiles and tells them to bring him the sick and he'll show them the ingredients. Meanwhile, Jae-Ha is keeping watch over the situation.
Tae-Jun is surprised by the number of soldiers that are interested in making medicine.
The scene changes to an old man who refuses to move to receive a bath and it's causing a ruckus. Tae-Jun is a bit irritated, but then he becomes distracted when he spots Zeno juggling little bags for the children's entertainment. He asks what he's doing there, seeing as he's apart of Yona's group and it's risky.
Zeno cheerfully greets him, but Tae-Jun becomes irritated again and is about to say this is no place to play around, but then he hears the old man clapping and cooing after Zeno's performance. The old man gets up and hugs Zeno, who convinces him to go get a bath. Zeno says that people are mirrors, so if he smiles then their smile is bound to come back. Tae-Jun says that he's rathered learned for being a kid, which Zeno blurts a chuckle at.
He switches the subject to Yona and how she trusts them all, therefore she follows them. Zeno's expression softens and he comments on Tae-Jun's profile lately. It's a good face. It's not just his, but everyone looks better than they did before. He tells Tae-Jun that he will become a grand presence in the land of the Fire Tribe one day, but Tae-Jun is shaken, saying that being someone big isn't what he wants to be. His only wish is--
He's cut off by the soldiers living in total bliss over Yoon's cooking. One of them even asks him to marry him, which he rejects immediately.
That night as Tae-Jun is eating, he spots two elderly women talking to each other about the food and notices one of them is trying to massage their own shoulders. Tae-Jun promptly offers to rub them for her, but as usual it hurts when he does it.
He turns to a scene where the soldiers and villagers and singing with Zeno dancing in the middle of a crowd. They sing, "Long long ago, the big red sun had been devoured. The world was covered in darkness. Let's call the four dragons--bow our heads--to the Flame Dragon bow our heads"
It's a children's song of the Fire Tribe, as Yoon explains to Tae-Jun. He recalls singing it as a child himself. It's a song about the ancient legend about King Hiryuu who restored the land. Hiryuu is an ancestor of the Fire Tribe, so it's fitting. Though even the other tribes know about it. Tae-Jun adds that it's because Hiryuu is said to be his ancestor that he always took pride in being apart of the Fire Tribe.
However, what kind of person was Hiryuu? He loved people, he loved the four dragons, he strove for things, he looked after the world, and none of it was from the castle or the throne. He was modest, but he was also a big influence. That is something to take pride in itself.
"" Good evening. It's a beautiful night, isn't it?"
Tae-Jun continues his thoughts in which he compares Yona to Hiryuu. He turns to ask why she's there, but Yona quickly tells him to flip back around and just listen to her.
" I came to tell you of our departure."
Tae-Jun's expression turns wide as she continues to say that they will be leaving this land in the morning because Yoon wants to gather things for meals and medicine.
" ...Then you'll be returning, right...?"" Yes. ...And there's one more thing. Mi-Rae has passed away. It was this morning...I'm sorry that I didn't tell you right away."
Tae-Jun expresses his disappointment. He thought that he could help Mi-Rae find her long lost son in Saika someday, but "someday" was too late. Yona reminds him that it isn't just Mi-Rae that has been through something like that. There are others who need to meet their loved ones again.
" Tae-Jun, I must ask you if I can rely on you. Protect the people of the Fire Tribe."
Tae-Jun hunches over, his eyes reddened with emotion. He exclaims that it is the highest honour for her to give that task to someone like him.
[ I don't need to be a grand person. Please...I only wish for your happiness...]
He bows (not facing Yona) and says, "I will await your safe return
