Modern Times
The story features the Little tramp, Chaplin's famous character, who is trying to survive in the modern industrialized world. The film show The Little Tramp working in a factory on an assembly line that never seems to stop. A feeding machine gives him food while he continues tightening the bolts on a moving belt. The LIttle Tramp can't stand the monotony---doing the same think over and over---and suffers a mental breakdown. He's taken to the hospital, and soon recovers. But he can't avoid getting into trouble again.
