research should focus on developing an effective vaccine against
ZIKV. In terms of treatment, the development of a broad spectrum
antiviral drug has been recently recommended because the “One
Bug- One Drug” approach is no longer practical. The associa-tion between ZIKV and neurological manifestation require further
verification. In addition, the underlying pathological process and
identification of population whom are at risk of these neurological
manifestations should be investigated in the future.
