The Father of Political Science.
Undoubtedly I’ Aristotle was a scientist and not a painter like his teacher Plato. His approach to the problem was on scientific lines and thus systematized knowledge rather than originating new philosophies. His approach was pointed and argument lucid and convincing. There are many aspects of his philosophy which establish for him the honour of being the first political scientist or the father of Political Scie:nce’ e.g.:
(i) His Scientific Metlaod of Study. His method of study
(ii) P.litics was assig.ed an-independent character.
(iii) New Methodology in Study.
(iv) His Method of Comparative Study.
(v) Aristotle was an Etnpirical Thinker.
(vi) Aristotle regarded himself a Scientist.
(vii) Widening the Scope of Political Science
(viii) Due Place to Laws.
Conclusion ---Taking these facts into consideration it can safely be concluded that the honour of being the first political thinker or the father of Political Science can rightly be conferred on Aristotle than on Plato.
