Protocorm induction and protocorm proliferation: Seeds were germinated at 30 days after the initiation of culturing and developed to protocorms at 45 days after germination on modified VW medium. High proliferation capacity of D. secundum protocorms were observed two months after being cultured on modified VW medium supplemented with 0.5 mg L-1 NAA (12.53±2.537 g) (Table 1 an d Fig. 1).
