The reconceptualist‟s view and the option is that the much “-orchestrated” alternative, authentic and performance-based assessments are not strong and precise enough to assess all the skills during science activities. There is the need to evolve a more sensitive and imaginative technique to measure science-learning outcomes at skill level. The author is advocating for an on-the-spot assessment of skills, especially those skills that cannot directly be assessed through students‟ written reports of, or products of investigation
