K’s Patient-Specific Hair Implantation
There are two approaches to inserting a hair follicle. In Asia, the most common way is with the use of an implanter. However, there are some major disadvantages to this method. The depth of the implant cannot be controlled easily and bleeding is difficult to control. The second approach, more common in the US and in Europe, is by first making small incisions (slit) and implanting the follicles manually. This allows for easy control of bleeding and dense packing of the graft, eventually creating much better results. At JK, our specialized hair transplant clinic uses this method to give you the best results possible.
