Obviously, the working pH range of Fenton reaction was widened. This finding can be explained by the fact that the Fenton reaction mainly takes place on the nanoparticle surface and thus the pH in bulk solution would have less effect on the reaction rate [10,12]. During the 120- minute observation, it was found that the pH of reaction solution significantly increased immediately after adding of catalyst and then decreased slightly to a relatively stable value.
