4. Results
4.1. Preliminary analysis
All variables under consideration were correlated using the
Pearson r test to ascertain the relationship among variables. The
results of this analysis are displayed in Table 3.
4.2. Assumption and test for multicollinearity
To test for collinearity, the variance inflation factor (VIF) of the
various variables were analyzed (as presented in Table 4 below).
Although a rule of thumb suggests that correlations exceeding 0.8
may violate the assumption of no multicollinearity [12], we
