This paper discusses a new vector control strategy for
single-phase induction motor operating with two windings. The
vector control is based on the Rotor Field Oriented (R.F.O)
method that was adapted for this type of machine. This new
vector control is suitable for all of the unbalanced induction
motors. Moreover the rotor speed of the unbalanced motor is
estimated by using Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). Results
show the good performance of the proposed method.
