The outstanding mechanical properties of HPDC Mg-Al-La-Y-based
alloy were studied by Zhang et al. [21], and results showed that
these properties were mainly attributed to the formation of Al11La3
intermetallics. Terada et al. [22]. studied the creep rupture life of
HPDC Mg-Al-Mn alloy, and found that the Larson-Miller constant
was mostly dependent on the morphology of intermetallic phases
in the microstructure.
