One good example of livestock crop integration systems at a village level in Thailand was demonstrated . Paddy, corn and mung beans were the main crops of the village . oxen were the main livestock . About 100 hectares of village land was reserved as permanent pasture . Corn harvest followed soon after rice transplanting finished. Some of the corn fields were subsequently planted to mung beans but the remainder served to carry the animals until rice and mung beans were harvested.
