Identification of urinary pheromones in buffaloes would pave a way to develop a biochemical kit for detecting estrus effectively.Therefore, the present investigation was carried out to examine
the presence of volatile compounds in the urine of buffalo during various phases of the estrous cycle in order to detect the estrusspecific compounds, and to study bull behaviour in response to
the identified compounds.
