It should be also mentioned that samples with higher or lower concentrations may be also analyzed by varying the accumulation efficiency that depends on the controlled parameter of the SI-AdSVA system, such as a sample volume and a flow rate. In particular, to increase the sensitivity of analysis of samples containing lower than 0.1 μg/mL of an analyte, tacc may be set 240 s.
Comparison of the developed SI-AdSVA system with other adsorptive stripping voltammetric methods for the determination of Gua and Ade is represented in Table 2. It can be seen that the sensitivity and linear concentration range of the new method are comparable with the analytical characteristics of previously reported methods. The reliable and simple ACSE not only exhibited strong catalytic activity toward the oxidation of Gua and Ade, but also provided stable and quantitatively reproducible analytical performance.
