The MS/MS of 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl thiocyanate and 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl thiocyanate-C13N15 by electron ionization at 70 eV are shown in Fig. 6.
A molecular ion (M+) as a mother ion of m/z 130 for 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl thiocyanate was observed for the derivatives, and MRM ions also appeared at m/z 58, 43 and 42. A molecular ion (M+) of m/z 132 for 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl thiocyanate-C13N15 was observed for the derivatives and indicated an increase of m/z 2 to the molecular ion peak of 2 (dimethyla-mino)ethyl thiocyanate.
Its MRM ions appeared at same mass to those of 2 (dimethylamino)ethyl thiocyanate thus indicating fragmentation at the dimethylamino moiety.
