The statistical analysis showed that copper accumulation between shoots and roots of Brassica juncea (L.) Czern were not significantly different in soil when amended with 0 and 50 mg of Cu. At low concentration, the level of copper was not toxic to Brassica juncea (L.) Czern. Therefore, it could be that copper translocated from roots to shoots. However, in the experimental pot with 100, 150 and 200 mg Cu/kg, copper concentrations in the roots were greater than in the shoots (Figure 2).
