Inventory Management
Inventory Management is the backbone of Gap Inc.’s strategy to make sure the best product gets to the right place at the right time. As an Inventory Allocator, Analyst, or Planner, employees learn the ins and outs of managing our inventory, from pre-season planning to managing pricing decisions to tracking inventory patterns and sales, while supporting one of our six brands. Our inventory management team also manages relationships with cross-functional partners to determine each season’s trends and the most effective process to get our product out to stores.
When you join the inventory management team, you will experience training through various learning methods which include instructor-led classes with interactive discussions, dynamic business simulations, e-Learnings and hands-on activities. Self- studies provide fundamental information and allow participants increased flexibility to learn information at their perspectives.
