Nanofiltration, using a 200 Da membrane, allows for separation
of free amino acids from higher molecular weight components,
such as proteins, polysaccharides, polyphenols and fiber.
Fig. 2(B) and (C) show the FPLC gel filtration profile of the nanofiltration
retentate and permeate, respectively.
